Well-established local CPA firm is looking to expand our bookkeeping department. This is a unique opportunity to bring your career to the next level. We are looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper who enjoys helping a multitude of clients with their financial affairs and services.

Key elements for fit:

• Solid knowledge of payroll principles, regulations and best practices along with an understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

• Solid knowledge of state & local tax codes and regulations. SUTA, FUTA, L&I, PFML and DOR.

• Solid knowledge of federal tax codes and regulations. 940;s, 941's, 1099's, W2's and W3's.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal; ability to quickly establish rapport and build relationships with internal clients

• Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines

•  Must be able to multi-task

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounting

• Minimum of 3+ years QuickBooks Experience required

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint)

• Understanding of multi state sales tax and payroll tax reporting required

• Experience with Bank reconciliations, Financial statements, Journal entries required

• Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable required
